The current humanitarian crisis and situation in Assam has harshly impacted the local communities. Devastating floods have ravaged the entire state.
The people are fighting for their survival. Basic necessities have become a challenge for many. Women, children and senior citizens are the worst hit by the calamity.

The relief and rehabilitation activities will particularly focus on the weaker sections of the population in the disaster affected areas and will roll out distribution through local institutions and administration authorities.
