Nilam Acharya is a seasoned social work professional with an 18-year career, holding an M.Sc. in Extension and Communication from The M.S. University in Baroda. Currently serving as the Deputy Director at United Way Baroda since 2022, Nilam has been instrumental in the success of state and district-level education projects. Her expertise extends to project management, CSR proposals, and fund disbursement. Prior roles include Teaching Assistant at MSU Baroda and IEC and Monitoring Officer at Deepak Foundation, where she contributed significantly to Safe Motherhood and Child Survival projects. Rupsa Munsi

Rupsa joined United Way Kolkata in February 2023. Rupsa has a Masters degree in History, from Presidency College, University of Calcutta with her specialisation on Social History of Modern India. She started her career as a journalist in 2010 and has moved to working in the social sector in 2015, specialising in education and impact analysis. Rupsa looks after the operations, partnerships and programs in Kolkata and West Bengal. She is also a Teach For India Alumna.

George joined United Way Mumbai In April 2011. He has a management degree from SIBM, Pune, and has previously worked in sales and marketing positions in India and supply chain operations internationally. Prior to joining UWM, he has based in Africa handling among other functions, CSR initiatives, forming strategic developmental alliances with international stakeholders, and forming self-help groups among agri communities. He has a strong interest and inclination towards furthering philanthropy, sustainable community initiatives, and organizations supporting the development of social enterprises. George is also a United Way Worldwide global fellow.
