Nilam Acharya is a seasoned social work professional with an 18-year career, holding an M.Sc. in Extension and Communication from The M.S. University in Baroda. Currently serving as the Deputy Director at United Way Baroda since 2022, Nilam has been instrumental in the success of state and district-level education projects. Her expertise extends to project management, CSR proposals, and fund disbursement. Prior roles include Teaching Assistant at MSU Baroda and IEC and Monitoring Officer at Deepak Foundation, where she contributed significantly to Safe Motherhood and Child Survival projects. Nilam is a recipient of the Young Citizen Award and a Certificate of Excellence for her impactful training and monitoring activities in 2007. She is also an author of a book on Extension Methods and Materials.
